Brain Health Event Friday
To continue our Brain Health month and to celebrate the first nice weather day of Spring, we invite you to come out to the Gazebo on Friday, March 24th between 1pm-3pm. All residents and employees are welcome!
Your RHS nurses will be there with the rolling wellness cart, stocked with brain games, information, and the Wheel of Wellness.
How does this event benefit your brain?
Vitamin D (which you can get a good amount from 20 min in the sun) shows a direct correlation with improved brain health.
Being in nature reduces stress and improves the memory circuits of your brain.
Socializing is one of the best ways to improve brain health and improves cognitive ability.
Having fun reduces levels of the stress hormone Cortisone, which is toxic to your brain function.
