Dr. Douglas Ambler

Dr. James Lord

Lab Services through Northwestern Medicine Healthlab
Lab techs from Northwestern Central DuPage Hospital are available to draw blood in the RHS on Thursday mornings from 8am-9am.
Kindly call RHS to schedule your labs at least two days in advance. We are able to process lab orders only with a physician order.
The lab reports will be faxed directly to the ordering physician by the lab. The lab results do not come directly to RHS. Urine samples can be sent out Monday—Friday. Please contact RHS for specific information.
If you see your physician and he/she orders lab work for you, please ask for the orders to be FAXED to RHS at (630) 681-4036 .If their office only puts the order in the computer and doesn’t fax it to us, we have no way of knowing that you need this lab work done. You can also help this process by letting us know if your physician orders lab work for you. You can do this by calling us at (630) 681-4038 or by stopping down to RHS. In giving us advance notice, it helps to prevent any problems on lab day and makes sure that you are able to have the appropriate lab work done in a timely manner.
Labs are faxed directly to the physician’s office by the hospital lab and most of the physicians also have direct access through their computer system. If your physician says they have not received results, please ask them to call Cadence Healthlab directly at (630) 933-2633.

Geriatric Psychiatry, Counselling, and Memory Health:
Dr. Pauline Wiener, Geriatric Psychiatrist, comes to Wyndemere to make house visits. If you struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, or similar concerns, call her office at (630) 231-9400 to schedule an appointment.
Cheryl Petterson, LCSW, CADC, specializes in the unique emotional needs of the older adult. She comes to Wyndemere to visit patients and bills through Medicare. To schedule an appointment, call The Healing Arts at Park Place at (630) 355-7055.
